Information on Courses Taught
Currently, I teach Safety and Management of Health Emergencies andIntroduction to Athletic Training. I also teach AT 340, an AthleticTraining clinical education class that focuses on injury evaluationand rehabilitation.
My responsibilities as an athletic trainer are supervision ofthe athletic training students, care, prevention, evaluation, andrehabilitation of athletic injuries, and some administrativeduties. I love outdoor activities like hiking, biking, canoeing,walking, jet-skiing, and watching sunsets. Although I have a veryactive lifestyle, I can get completely involved in a good book ormovie. I volunteer as an EMT at the Lynchburg Lifesaving Crew. Irecently graduated from a massage therapy program in Roanoke. Myfamily (Ed, Dallas, Mickayla, Daisy, Peanut, Ruby and Meow) keepsme busy with fun activities during my free time.
