Isaiah Brothers

Coach Brothers has been an assistant coach with the University of Lynchburg’s track and field program since 2023.

Brothers was an athlete throughout the program for four years, joining the team in 2019. During his time as an athlete, he was a hurdler and jumper. Accomplishing great times, distances, and heights. While an athlete, Coach Brothers was an ODAC champion in the 400 Hurdles, clocking a time of 55.57. Multiple medals in his jumping events, soaring 6’4 in high jump, 6.61m in long jump, and 13.64m in triple jump.

Starting his coaching career in Lynchburg, he has already accomplished a ton of feats. At the conference level, he swept the horizontal jumps in his second year, winning the men’s and women’s long jump, and then winning the men’s and women’s triple jump. At the national level, he produced a back-to-back indoor and outdoor All-American jumper with a 12.34 meter jump in the women's triple jump. Along with this, he has coached and is currently coaching multiple athletes who are the school record holders for the triple jump and pentathlon.
