Payton Trujillo joins the Lynchburg men’s and women’s indoor volleyball programs for the 2025-26 season.

A Chester, Va., native, Trujillo recently graduated from Virginia Tech, where he served as the head student manager for the Hokies’ women’s volleyball team throughout his four years. He was also a key member of Virginia Tech’s men’s club volleyball team.

Before college, Trujillo was a two-year varsity letter winner at Thomas Dale High School, helping lead the Knights to a VHSL Class 6A state runner-up finish in 2020.
