Va. Wesleyan Takes ODAC VB Match at LC
First Home Loss of Season for Hornets

            LYNCHBURG, VA - The Lynchburg College volleyball team suffered its first home loss of the season Monday night, 29-27, 25-19, 25-15 to Virginia Wesleyan College in Old Dominion Athletic conference (ODAC) play. LC had won its first nine matches of the season in Turner Gymnasium.

            Junior outside hitter Elena Kritter (Culpeper, VA/Rappahannock) led the Hornets with nine kills and 10 digs, Michelle Boucher (Chesapeake, VA/Nansemond Suffolk) added seven kills while Marion Lozano (Manassas, VA/Seton School) posted six. Brooke Moughon (Mathews, VA/Mathews) had 12 assists while Jasmine Murphy (Shipman, VA/Nelson County) and Rachel Turk (Salem, VA/Salem) tallied 14 and 13 digs, respectively.

            Lynchburg (11-8/4-2 ODAC) hosts Sweet Briar College Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. in more ODAC play.
