Dylan Hoff Nets four as LC Men's Lax Defeats Randolph College 13-4
LYNCHBURG, VA- Junior attack Dylan Hoff (Chester Springs, PA/Downingtown East) scored four times Wednesday night as the Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team posted a 13-4 victory over Randolph College in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game.
Jason Long (Doylestown, PA/Lansdale Catholic) found the back of the net twice, scoring in the first and second quarters of the contest. Lynchburg held an 8-0 lead after the first period and an 11-0 advantage at intermission.
Max Voumard (Cape May, NJ/St. Augustine Prep) and Josh Davey (Owings Mills, MD/Owings Mills) each had a goal and an assist and Derek Sweet (Duxbury, MA/Duxbury), Matt Manzo (Leesburg, VA/Notre Dame Academy), Rob Day (Doylestown, PA/Lansdale Catholic), Eddie Bilinkas (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) and Charlie Oldendorp (Madison, NJ/Madison) each posted a goal. Chris Eggeling (Barrington, RI/Providence Country Day) assisted on two of Hoff's goals.
Lynchburg won 15 of the games 21 face-offs. Randolph had goals by TJ Story, Stephen Allman, Jon O'Hara and John Croney in the second half and Wildcat keeper Kevin McCracken made 15 stops.
The Hornets (6-5/2-2 ODAC) host Greensboro College for a non-conference game Saturday night at 7 p.m.
