Hornet Women Earn 20th Win 67-55 at Randolph
LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College women's basketball team reached the 20-win plateau Thursday night, defeating Randolph College 67-55 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play. The victory keeps the Hornets atop the ODAC standings by one game over Guilford College with one game remaining in the regular season.

Sarah Coronel each contributed 13 points apiece on the night. Coronel added five rebounds and four assists. Senior guard
Sammi Goldsmith dished out five assists and brought in nine rebounds in the effort, both game-highs.
Rebecca Harvey had a team-high 15 points and seven rebounds for the Wildcats (4-20, 2-13). Korrin Harris scored 10 points and Alexis Calloway recorded seven points and six boards in the contest.
The Hornets forced the Wildcats into committing 17 turnovers in the game, while holding the opposition to just 14 % shooting from three-point range.
The Hornets (20-4, 13-2) return home to host Hollins University Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in the regular season finale. With a win, Lynchburg clinches the #1 seed in the ODAC Tournament for the first time in program history and secures a quarterfinal matchup with the winner of the first round game between the #8 seed and #9 seed. The quarterfinals are scheduled to begin Thursday, February 25 at the Salem Civic Center at 1 p.m.
