Hat Tricks from Murphy and Angell Propel Men's Lacrosse Past Shenandoah 19-8
LYNCHBURG, VA – Seniors Aaron Murphy and Dane Angell each scored a hat trick in the first half to propel the Lynchburg College men's lacrosse team past Shenandoah University 19-8 in Friday night's Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) contest held at Shellenberger Field.
Lynchburg got things going right away as senior goalie Chris Hawley intercepted a ball and lofted it across the field to find an open Evan Lombardo on the crease for the game's first score 44 seconds into play. Two goals from both teams in the final 15 minutes resulted in the game's 19-8 final score.
