The Hornets took to the road Saturday when they played Guilford College in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) contest. Lynchburg was 6-1 in the conference heading into the opening faceoff while Guilford was 2-5 in ODAC play.

- Senior midfielder Chris Camarca opened up the scoring for the Hornets, cutting to the crease and finishing an assist from sophomore attackman Logan Adams
- Senior midfielder Harrison Brennan made the score 2-0 in favor of Lynchburg, dodging down the alley and firing a shot under the cross bar
- Sophomore attackman Logan Adams made the score 3-0, finishing an assist from sophomore attackman Andrew Thomas
- Junior midfielder Chase Boyer stepped into a skip pass from Adams and fired a shot off the goalkeeper's hip to make the score 4-0 with 5:08 remaining in the first quarter
- Thomas scored behind the back to open the second quarter on an assist from junior midfielder Colin McGuire to give the Hornets a six goal lead

- Junior attackman Shayne O'Brien scored a behind the back goal on an assist from freshman attackman Colin Dean
- Junior midfielder Eric Corella scored streaking down the field and slamming the ball in the goal to finish the scoring for the Hornets, giving them a 17-4 lead with 8:12 remaining in the game
- John Padden and Aswan Bland would score for the Quakers to bring the game to its final score of 17-6 in favor of the Hornets
