Box Score Lynchburg, Va. -- Maggie Quarles scored 15 points, Lexi Hall added 14, and University of Lynchburg's women's basketball team rolled to a 75-38 victory over Virginia Wesleyan Tuesday night in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play.
Quarles scored nine of her 15 in the first quarter, contributing to Lynchburg's hot start with a trio of 3-pointers in the period. The Hornets (10-12, 7-8 ODAC) led 26-9 after the first and never looked back.
Hall finished with five rebounds and three steals to go with her career-high 14 points, and Abby Oguich chipped in 10 points and seven rebounds.
Sabrina Jones led Virginia Wesleyan (5-18, 3-13) with 11 points.
The 37-point blowout marks Lynchburg's largest margin of victory in the programs' 69-game all-time series.
Lynchburg hits the road over the weekend to take on first-place Bridgewater at 4:30 p.m. The Eagles bested Lynchburg, 79-73, on January 25.
