Box Score Lynchburg, Va. -- Maggie Quarles and Abby Oguich each scored 12 points to lead University of Lynchburg's women's basketball team to a 59-44 Old Dominion Athletic Conference victory over Randolph Thursday night on the road.
The Hornets (7-1, 6-1 ODAC) jumped out to a 20-10 lead after the first quarter and controlled the game throughout, leading by as many as 19 in the late going.
Oguich went 5-for-6 from the field and added nine rebounds and two steals for Lynchburg, while Erin Green contributed nine points, three boards, two blocks, and two assists. Lizzie Davis chipped in eight points and six steals.
Kylie Stark led the WildCats (1-6, 1-6) with 12 points and four assists.
The Hornets are now winners of 20 straight games against their crosstown rivals, a streak dating back to the 2009-10 season. It is Lynchburg's longest active win streak against any opponent.
Lynchburg has won seven straight games headed into Saturday's regular-season finale against Washington and Lee. That contest will not count in the ODAC standings.
The Hornets will celebrate Senior Day with the Class of 2021 prior to the game.
