Charlottesville, Va. -- University of Lynchburg's Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association team fared well in its second competition of the weekend, capturing seven ribbons en route to a fourth-place team finish at the University of Virginia IHSA show Sunday.
Shannon Huth and Iris Moseley led the way for Lynchburg, riding to second place in their respective events. Huth was reserve champion over Intermediate Fences and Moseley in Novice Flat.
The Hornets had a deluge of third-place results, led by Lori Ohannessian in Open Flat. Hannah Hillyer placed third in Limit Flat, Dakota Banks the same in Limit Fences, and also Madison Thomas in Introductory Flat.
Margaret Stell also came home with a ribbon, placing sixth in Intermediate Flat.
Lynchburg garnered 27 points on the day to finish fourth of the eight teams in attendance. Virginia Tech was the show champion with 38.
