Box Score Lexington, Va. -- University of Lynchburg's men's basketball team fell behind early and never could recover, dropping on the road at Washington and Lee, 104-62, Saturday afternoon.
After Elijah Davis put the Hornets ahead with the first basket of the game, W&L ripped off a 21-2 run. The Generals shot over 50 percent from the field in the first half en route to a 58-27 halftime lead.
Alex Fitch led the Hornets with 14 points off the bench – his second-straight game in double figures – and Jordan Parham scored 13. Jayson Easton's seven rebounds led Lynchburg on the glass.
The Hornets (4-14, 1-8 Old Dominion Athletic Conference) will look to stop their losing skid Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. when crosstown rival Randolph pays a visit to Turner Gymnasium.
