Lynchburg's 2024-25 campaign concluded with 14 wins, the most victories for the program since the 2021-22 season. The Hornets earned the seventh seed in the ODAC tournament and knocked off second-seeded Hampden-Sydney in the quarterfinal round, then ranked seventh in the country across DIII. Although Lynchburg was nipped by Roanoke in a thrilling overtime contest in the conference semifinals, the Hornets return many key impact players and are set to see young performers take leaps in this upcoming year.
