Lynchburg, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg men's lacrosse team defeated Randolph 23-0 on Wednesday.
It's Lynchburg's largest margin of victory since 2022 when the Hornets beat Virginia Wesleyan by 24, and the Hornets eclipsed 20 goals for the fifth time in the last two seasons.
Luke Thompson, Ethan Cotter, Gabe Menchaca, Brennan Olmert, Tyler Duffey, and Andrew Beal found the back of the net for the first time on the season, and Henry Fowler secured his first-career hat trick.
Lynchburg's trio at the X of Jack Ponzoni, Riley Frankel, and Michael Kraus won 88.5% of the faceoffs in the game. The Hornets won 23 faceoffs in a game for the sixth time in program history.
The Hornets (7-5, 4-1 ODAC) host Randolph-Macon on Saturday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m.
