Lynchburg, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg baseball team took down Pfeiffer 10-5 on Tuesday.
Josh Gjormand pitched a career-high seven innings and earned his second win of the year. Three Hornets registered two hits each, and Riley O'Donovan homered and drove home four.
Pfeiffer got to Gjormand for three in the first inning, but he settled in and faced 24 batters the rest of the game after pitching to nine in the first.
