Lynchburg, Va. -- University of Lynchburg athletics had six student-athletes named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Academic All-State Team, announced by the organization on Tuesday. 

Across the state of Virginia, 36 colleges and universities had student-athletes selected to the VaSID Academic All-State Team, totaling 215 student-athletes. To be selected to the VaSID Academic All-State Team, honorees must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25-or-better and must have been a sophomore or higher during the 2025-26 academic year.

Each representative is recognized for their academic excellence within their respective sport. Lynchburg's selections include Alan Van Asch (Men's Golf), Reid Rouse (Men's Soccer), Ashley Hair (Women's Tennis), Sophia Schorr (Equestrian/Swimming), Madelyn Boyce (Women's Soccer/Track & Field), and Alyssa Talayumptewa (Softball).
