Head coach Jenni Releford and the Hornets are grateful for your support of the team!
In Coach Releford's first season at the helm of the Lynchburg field hockey team, the Hornets propelled to 16 wins and earned a spot in the NCAA tournament. Lynchburg hosted Susquehanna in the first round of the national postseason and claimed an emphatic 2-1 overtime victory. A whopping 10 student-athletes landed on All-ODAC teams in 2025. Additionally, Khanyisile Mzizi was named an NFHCA All-American, while three performers were tabbed All-Region and All-State selections. Releford took over as head coach of the Lynchburg field hockey team on January 1, 2024 and has kept her squad within the top-25 of the national rankings throughout each and every week of her head coaching career.Â
