Coach Sam Llaneza and the Hornets are grateful for your support of the team!
The men’s squad capped the 2025 season with its fifth consecutive appearance at the NCAA Division III Championships after placing second at the NCAA South Regional in Salem, Va. Each of Lynchburg’s seven competitors placed inside the top 35 to receive all-region honors at the NCAA South Region Championships, marking the highest total in program history. In addition, Alex Jordan secured ODAC Runner of the Year honors and placed first at the NCAA South Regional, representing the Hornets’ fifth straight regional champ.
On the women’s side, four Hornets claimed All-ODAC positions to help Lynchburg to a second-place finish at the ODAC Championships. Despite battling injuries, the team captured fifth place at the NCAA South Regional, while Mya Baker and Hannah Edwards earned all-region awards. The Hornets aim to return to the NCAA Championships during the upcoming season.
