K.P. Performance Center
The KP Performance Center serves as the home training facility for the University of Lynchburg golf program and features a state-of-the-art Trackman 4 golf simulator, an Arc Master putting aid, a loft-lie machine, and a re-gripping station, all made possible by a generous gift from Jacque and Sean Grzebin, parents of Lynchburg men's golfer Sean Grzebin Jr. ’29. They established the space in honor of Jacque Grzebin’s mother, the late Katherine Purdy, whose values of perseverance, positivity, and support for others inspired the naming of the facility.
Located inside Wake Field House, the KP Performance Center provides a dedicated environment for training and team use. At the center of the facility is the Trackman golf simulator, which allows student-athletes to play over 500 18-hole courses from around the world. The simulator also offers a driving range along with putting and chipping practice settings and delivers detailed performance data, including ball and club speed, spin rate, carry distance, and additional metrics to support player development.
The first floor includes player lockers and a lounge-style study area, featuring Lynchburg-branded furnishings including a coffee table, black and red seating, and illuminated Hornet-themed artwork. The second floor of the facility holds a 30x20 foot putting area with five cups and subtle break across the surface. The Arc Master serves its purpose by allowing players to find their perfect putting stroke using this area, attributing to training both the mind and muscle memory. The KP Performance Center is the perfect place to usher in the next era and level of Lynchburg Golf!
