2014-15 ODAC Sportsmanship Team
Senior (2015-16): appeared in all 29 games this season…posted a career high 10 points against Averett on December 14…she finished the season shooting 44.4% from the field…had 22 steals, 147 rebounds, and 21 assists on the year…had a season high 11 rebounds, one shy of her career high, against Virginia Wesleyan on February 25
Junior (2014-15): Stepped into a starting role as the season wore on due to a tremendous ability to rebound on both ends of the floor…started 11 of Lynchburg’s 28 games, including the final five…matched her career high of eight points on three separate occasions: November 19 versus Whittier College, November 19 at William Peace and January 15 at Salem College…tied her career best with 12 rebounds against Virginia Wesleyan College on February 18 as well as against Washington and Lee University in the ODAC quarterfinals on February 27…had four steals and three blocks in the ODAC tourney.
Sophomore (2013-14): Battled an injury early in the season but returned to compete in 18 games… Provided energy, rebounding and a defensive presence off the bench… Scored 22 points and grabbed 30 rebounds… Snared six boards against Emory & Henry College on January 18.
Freshman (2012-13): Coon showed the knack for getting to the basket and collecting rebounds in her freshman campaign… Set a career-high eight points at Virginia Wesleyan on January 16… Her 12 rebounds against Bridgewater on January 2 were a personal best for Coon.
Before LC: Four-year letter winner at Bishop McGuinness High School… Started for one year... Helped the Villians win the 1A state championship all four years.
