2016 All-ODAC Third-Team
Senior (2016): A key to the Hornet defense once again, started in all 18 games during her final season for Lynchburg....added two goals by season’s end, including the first of her career on October 4th at Sweet Briar...made two defensive saves, good enough for second-best on the team
Junior (2015): Heuberger picked up where she left off last year and started all 19 matches on defense for Lynchburg… She was another reliable piece on the Hornet defense, constantly pursuing 50/50 balls and intercepting passes in the backfield… Made four defensive saves on the year, tied for third in the ODAC in that category… Heuberger also was credited with an assist in the team’s 5-2 victory over York on September 26… Will look to take on a leadership role as one of three seniors on next year’s squad
Sophomore (2014): Heuberger has emerged as a defensive threat for the Hornets appearing in 17 games this season and earning a starting positon in the young defensive unit. Heuberger’s ball control, stick skills, and recovery abilities allow her to carry the ball from end line to end line. In the Hornets’ win over Randolph-Macon, Heuberger recorded her first collegiate statistic by taking the first offensive shot of the game. Ashley will be expected to be a leader on defense in her upcoming junior season.
Freshman (2013): Played in four contests.
Before LC: Won four letters and started two years for Lakeland High School…First-Team All-District and Second-Team All-Region in 2013…Helped her team reach a 24-0 record and win the state championship in 2010…Also won four letters in soccer…Had a letter in academics in 2012.
