2014 All-State Academic Team
Senior (2015): Played in 15 games and started in 11 of them as a senior returning from a significant injury at the end of the prior season… scored six goals and had an assist at attack… had eight points over the span of three games from September 22 to October 3
Junior (2014): Rogerson appeared in all 22 games this season and accumulated five starts. She tallied two goals and four assists. Rogerson plays a significant role on the Hornets attacking end. She has made her mark in the circle with 24 shots, and had a team high seven shots vs. Ferrum. Catherine will be looked upon to increase her role as an attacker in her senior season.
Sophomore (2013): Saw time in all 21 games while starting in one of them… as a sophomore she provided strength and speed to the Hornet offense, scoring five goals and assisting on four others.
Freshman (2012): Appeared in 13 games in her first season on Lakeside Drive…helped out on the backline and in the midfield when forced into action…after earning playing time in both the NCAA Second Round and Elite Eight, Rogerson will be counted on to expand her role as a sophomore.
Before LC: Started three years for Cosby High School…helped the Titans win the Dominion District title in 2009, 2010, and 2011 and helped them finish runner-up in regionals in 2009 and 2010…second team All-Dominion District in 2009 and 2010…earned several accolades as a senior including first team All-Dominion, Dominion District Player of the Year, first team all-region, second team all-state and team MVP....ran track in high school…All-Academic in 2009-2011…member of the Beta, NHS, and NAHS honor societies.
