Hannah Krause joins the Lynchburg coaching staff for the 2018 season as a graduate assistant after wrapping up one of the more decorated defensive careers in program history.

A two-time all-region and all-state and three-time All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference defender, Krause anchored the Hornets' back line for four seasons. She helped Lynchburg to its 18th ODAC championship as a freshman in 2014, and the Hornets were 57-22 overall and 28-2 in conference play over her four-year career.

The Lewes, Del., native earned her degree in communications studies with an emphasis in public relations in May. She is currently pursuing a master's in educational leadership with an emphasis in higher education.
