Senior (2014): Kline, a captain, began hersenior season with five starts and two goals. Her first goal of theseason came in the second half to tie the game which then led theteam to a victory against Alvernia College. Her second goal was theonly one scored in Lynchburg’s loss to LVC. Shortly afterscoring versus LVC, Kline left the game with a season endinginjury.
Junior (2013): Came on strong in her thirdseason, leading the ODAC with nine assists, and ranking third inpoints and fifth in goals…scored twice in LC’s gamesagainst Wittenberg and Mary Washington…tallied two assistsin wins against Sweet Briar and Centre…five of her 11 goalswere game-winners.
Sophomore (2012): Came on strong in the secondhalf of the season after missing a few games because of aninjury…scored nine goals and assisted on one more to finishfourth on the team in points with 19…big and athletic playerwho finds herself in many scoring opportunities…had twogame-winning goals…coaches will expect her to continue as amarquee scoring option as a junior.
Freshman (2011): Played in all 21 games andstarted in four… fired in 11 goals and recorded nine assistsgarnering 31 points… had three game-winning goals includingone in the 4-0 victory of Washington & Lee on October 1…won the ODAC Rookie of the Year Award and was named to the All-ODACThird-Team.
Before LC: Started for three years for ColonialForge and garnered seven letters in field hockey…coachesaward winner for the Eagles…earned first-team all-districthonors and second-team all-region honors and was honorable mentionall-metropolitan…won six letters in track and field.
Personal: Daughter of Carl and Anne Kline...hasone brother and one sister.
