Senior (2014): Link finished her seniorcampaign as Lynchburg’s top scorer for the second consecutiveseason with 15 goals. A captain, she also tallied five assists and35 points, which puts her at the top of the ODAC for points thisseason. Link made six game winning goals this season, four of whichwere against ODAC opponents. She also netted the game winnerversus nationally ranked Mary Washington. In the Hornets victoryagainst Randolph-Macon, Link scored the tying goal to take the gameinto overtime. In her senior season, she made her shots count asshe boasted a team high .312 shot percentage. Link ended herexplosive offensive career with a total of 38 goals, 14 assists,and 90 points for the Hornets.
Junior (2013): Kelsey played in 19 gameswhile starting in sixteen of them… she scored a career highof 12 goals this season and assisting on one goal, which was goodenough to get her second on the team in points scored...scored herfirst career hat trick against Eastern Mennonite on October30.
Sophomore (2012): Made a huge leap in hersecond year for the Hornets…tallied nine goals and sevenassists…finished third on the team in points with25…handled some of the insert duties this fall in a moreexpanded role…had her first career multi-goal game againstSweet Briar College on October 25.
Freshman (2011): Played in 17 games forthe Hornets… scored two goals and recorded an assist.
Before LC: Four-year starter for the Knights ofSpotsylvania High School…won four letters in fieldhockey…earned first-team all-district, first-teamall-region, first-team all-area and second-team all-statehonors.
Personal: Daughter of Keith and SandraLink…sister Megan Link played soccer for BridgewaterCollege...marketing minor.
