Senior (2012): Played in all 34 matches and 113 sets as a senior defensive specialist/libero for the Hornets… was the team leader in digs with 384 and also led the team in service aces with 38… had a season-high 20 digs against Marietta College on September 7 2012… also recorded 26 assists and four kills on the year.

Junior (2011): Played in all 31 matches and 111 games… had 16 assists and was second on the team in aces with 28… led the team in digs with 406 and had a dig per set percentage of 3.66… had two matches with 28 digs including the 3-0 win over Piedmont on October 7.

Sophomore (2010): Played in 51 games and 23 matches…had only three errors, three assists, 10 aces, and 77 digs. 

Freshman (2009): Defensively sound back row player for the Hornets . . . hard worker who provided depth for LC . . . will look to continue progressing into her sophomore year . . . played in six games as a newcomer, posting nine digs.

Before LC: A three-year starter for the Vikings of Northside High School . . . named best defensive player . . .  played in 83 games and recorded 412 digs and 256 aces in her senior . . . competed in soccer where she was named to the first team All-District and Region teams as well as second team All-State and played basketball . . . member of the National Honors Society.

Personal: The daughter of Greg and Terry Deacon . . . coaching minor.

Why I Chose LC: "I came to Lynchburg because I liked how close it was to home and the small school feel. I also loved the campus and the beautiful surroundings. I was also excited about the opportunity to play volleyball at the collegiate level."
