2011-12 Stats
2011-12: Filled a huge role for the Hornets this season by switching to forward after spending his first two seasons as a guard…played in all 26 games…tough, hard-nosed, junior who averaged 4.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game…one of the best all-around defenders on the team despite being undersized…had his best game of the season in an overtime loss to Juniata College on November 19th…scored 17 points and grabbed five boards in what was the Championship of the Mt. Aloysius Coaches vs. Cancer Classic…will be counted on to do whatever the coaching staff asks in his senior campaign.
2010-11: Saw increased action during his sophomore season…played in 26 contests and started 11 games…averaged 5 points per game and shot 34% from three point range on the year…scored double-digit points in four contests…notched a season high 18 points, six rebounds, and three assists in 34 minutes in a double-overtime thriller against Christopher Newport.
2009-10: Appeared in 24 contests ... played a season-high 21 minutes in three games and recorded double figure minutes in 14 games ... tallied four points, four assists, and four rebounds at Emory & Henry ... posted a season-high six points home against Roanoke.
Before LC: A three-year starter for the Blazers of Spotswood High School and played one year for LC assistant coach Charley Butcher at Fort Defiance ... was named to the all-district and all-region teams for two years ... averaged 10 points, three assists, and five rebounds a game as a senior and also scored 1,000 career points ... 2009 district and regional champions ... received the Chemistry Medallion Award in 2008 ... also lettered four years in football garnering all-district honors on two occassions.
Personal:Son of Boyd and Lisa Glover...has two brothers...Chip Glover, Michael's brother, lettered in golf at Virginia Tech for two years.
