Senior (2014): Karvelas had a successful year for the Hornets… he competed at all #1 singles and won five matches on the season… he won in straight sets against Southern Virginia University and was victorious against Randolph College, Hampden-Sydney College, Randolph-Macon College and Shenandoah University… he also played at the #1 doubles spot.

Junior (2013): Karvelas competed at the #1 spot for the Hornets in every match of the year, winning five of his overall matches and four in conference play…Was known to play some of the longer singles matches on the team, including a 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 win over Roanoke College on March 28…Posted the best doubles record on the team, going 9-4 while playing the majority of the time at #3 doubles.

Sophomore (2012): Karvelas finished with an overall singles record of 6-9 at the #1 position… Karvelas captured a win at #1 doubles with Derek Kegerreis, and tallied three wins at #2 doubles with Christian Golden.

Before LC: Was a four year starter and won four letters for the Yorktown High School Patriots… helped his team to become district champions his freshman year.
