2013 Stats

Sophomore (2014): Long competed at the #4 and #5 singles spots… he collected a hard-fought 3-6, 6-1, 7-5 win against Shenandoah University at #4 singles… he also saw action at all three doubles spots. 

Freshman (2013): Long had a very impressive freshman season, winning five total matches, mainly playing at #5…Picked up a big three-set win against Randolph College 6-3, 4-6, 6-1…Won his only appearance at #4 singles against Shenandoah University in the season finale on April 17…Won the most doubles matches on the team (9) while pairing with Matt Karvelas at #3 doubles for the majority of the time.

Before LC: Three year starter for the Flames of Eastern Mennonite High School…Named Second Team All-Conference and First Team All-Tournament senior year…Played the #2 singles and #1 doubles as a senior…In his time with the Flames, EMHS was a two-time conference champion and three-time state quarterfinalist…Also played basketball and soccer in high school, winning a state championship in soccer.
