Senior (2015): In her final campaign she appeared in 26 games with 19 starts…Johnson tied for sixth in the ODAC with 10 wins…She had four complete games and pitched 99 innings (7th in the ODAC)…Hope was sixth in the ODAC with 73 strikeouts…Johnson posted an ERA of 2.83, good for 11th in the conference…In just three at bats Johnson had one homerun
Junior (2014): Pitched in 27 games with 20 starts in the circle for the Hornets… recorded eight wins on the year and only allowed 43 earned runs on the year… she struck out 73 batters and posted an ERA of 3.14… struck out a season-high nine batters and allowed only three hits in the 1-0 victory over Roanoke College.
Sophomore (2013) - Had another great year for the Hornets, earning third team all-conference honors…was third in the conference for wins(16) and tied for first in saves (two)…she struck out 108 batters, which ranked fourth in the ODAC…tied for second in the league with 31 appearances on the season, showing how much the Hornets rely on the sophomore…logged a team-leading 142.2 innings pitched and 11 complete games…coaches expect the rising junior to continue to be the ace of the staff.
Freshman (2012) – Came on very strong late in her first year at Lynchburg…became the number one pitcher for the staff after pitching a no-hitter against Emory and Henry on March 31st…finished with a record of 7-5 and an ERA of 3.89…included 50 strikeouts on the year and held opponent’s batting average below .300.
Before LC: Four-year starter for Brookville High School…helped the Bees make it to the state-semifinals in 2009…was named pitcher of the year, first team all-region, first team all-district, and made the VHSL All-Star game.
