Freshman Year: Emerged as an immediate contributor in his freshman season for the distance squad, competing in four meets and setting two personal bests … Opened the season with a PR in the 3,000 at the Finn Pincus Invitational (9:15.85) … Finished 1st in the 5,000 at the Liberty Open, followed by a personal best in the mile at the Joe LaRocco Invitational (4:26.90) … Placed 7th in the 5,000 at the ODAC Indoor Championships with a 15:32.66 finish … Set two new personal bests during the outdoor season, including three top-10 finishes … Ran 15:08.19 to set a PR in the 5,000 at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic, followed by a personal best in the 10,000 at the ODAC Outdoor Championships (32:09.87) … Scored for the distance team at ODACs, finishing 6th in the 4,600 and 5th in the 10,000.
