Freshman Year: Raced in four meets during his freshman indoor season for the Hornets distance program … best results included running 4:39.88 in the mile at the Joe LaRocco Invitational and 2:01.42 in the 800 at the Liberty Open … Competed in four outdoor meets, setting personal bests in the 800 (1:59.81) and 1,500 (4:08.73) at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic.

Before Lynchburg: Helped the Vikings to indoor and outdoor state championships ... Also played basketball.
