Freshman Year: Competed in one indoor meet as a freshman, posting a 56.96 finish at the VMI Team Challenge … Raced in four meets during outdoor, exclusively running the 400 hurdles … Finished in the top 10 twice, setting a personal best in the ODAC Outdoor Championships with a 9th place result (58.23).

Before Lynchburg: Member of the Cougars' indoor and outdoor track & field district championship teams ... Also played football.
