2011-2012 (Indoor): Finished fourth at the ODAC Championship as a member of the 4,000m Distance Medley relay team with a time of 10:54.13…His best 1 mile time came at the ODAC Championship with a time of 4:34.53…Had his best 3,000m time at the Marietta Open 2 meet with a time of 9:06.86…Ran his season best 5,000m at Niswonger Foundation Invitational. (Outdoor): Finished second in the 3000m steeple chase at the ODAC Championship with a career best time of 9:32.73…Ran his best 1500m at the VMI-W&L Track and Field Carnival with a time of 4:12.52…His best 5000m came at the Duke Invitational with a time of 15:46.33.
2010-2011: (Indoor) Ran the one-mile in 4:40.21 at the Terrapin Invitational…(Outdoor)…Finished eighth in the ODAC in the 5000m with a mark of 15:51.22 at the Richmond’s Fred Hardy Invite…Placed sixth in the ODAC in the 10,000m with a run of 34:53.41 at the Dr. Jack M. Toms Invitational…First in the ODAC in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:43.90 at the ODAC Championships.
2009-2010: Indoor- Made his mark on the team in the long distance events ... posted a time of 9:21.21 in the 3000-meter run which came at the Hokie Invitational ... competed in the 5000 meter run where he had a best time of 15:59.38 ... ran in the 1 mile event at the Maryland Terrapin Classic where he clocked in at a time of 4:41.55 ... also took part in the ODAC Indoor Championships where he finished six in the 5000 meter run and helped the Hornets team with one point.
2008-09: Outdoor- An intricate part of the Hornets long distance team ... ran numerous long distance events ... finished in tenth place in the 1500m run with a time of 4:21:63 at the Lynchburg Track Classic ... in the Richmond Ken Hardy Invitational he finished fifth in the 3000m run which he was clocked at a time of 9:40:92 ... competed in the ODAC Championships where he finished third in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:20:20. Indoor - Specialized in the long distance events for the Hornets . . . provided depth for the distance squad . . . posted a 9:39.64 in the 3000 meter run at the Liberty Open . . . ran the 5000 meter run in 16:51.50 at the Niswonger Invitational, held at East Tennessee State . . . booked a top mile time of 4:43.76 at the Susquehanna Invitational . . . placed 13th in the 5000 meter run at the ODAC Championship meet, running a 16:46.94.
Before LC: Earned the team leadership award in cross country and was a cross country captain...All-District honoree in cross country, indoor, and outdoor track...All-Region and State performer in indoor track...Louisa County High Solutatorian...receivevd the Jefferson Book and Clyde Morris Leadership awards...awarded the Louisa School Board award while posting a 4.706 GPA.
Personal: Son of Jerry and Virgilia Cutright...cousin, Whitney Markey, ran cross country and track at Lynchburg for four years...two sisters ran track for William and Mary and Christopher Newport...cousin played football at UVA...father was a track participant at James Madison University.
