Senior (2016): The Hornets Captain was the anchor of the Lynchburg backline, starting all 23 games on defense...Continued to be a distributor, finishing the season tied for the most assists on the team with a career-high six, putting him T-4th in the conference at season's end in that category...Recorded two assists against Randolph-Macon on Oct. 8
Junior (2015): Was the set-up man during his third-year marking five assists from the defender position… started in 17 games for the Hornets… will look to anchor the defense come next season.
Sophomore (2014): After seeing spot action as a freshman, he took on a much larger role in year two…started every game on the backline and helped the team allow only 21 goals on the year…added a little punch on the offensive end, with two assists during the year…after a stellar sophomore year, the coaches will ask him to take on a bigger role with the defense due to graduation losses.
Freshman (2013): Competed in 17 games with two starts…had an assist in LC’s 4-0 win at Shenandoah on October 4.
Before LC: Thomas played for the Saxons of Langley High School in McLean, VA, where he earned honorable Liberty District in the 11-12 season. In his senior season he earned second-team All Liberty district.
Personal: Thomas is the son of Tom and Dori Salamone. He has two brothers and two sisters . . . a sports management minor.
