Biography

2016: One of the few veterans on the team, she went 10-9 in singles competition, including a 6-4 mark at the #4 slot…was also 10-9 in doubles play, mainly with partner Erika Hadland at #2…the duo finished 9-3.

2015: Dowling saw time at multiple singles positions while participating at all three double spots as a sophomore... Captured four games in her first completed singles match of the year against Bridgewater College on March 21... Defeated Virginia Wesleyan at No. 3 doubles 8-2 for one of LC's largest margins of victory on the season.

2014: Dowling saw action at the #4, #5 and #6 singles positions and won three matches, including a 6-4, 6-0 win against Virginia Wesleyan College… she also competed at the #2 and #3 doubles spots and was successful in three matches.

Before LC: Started all four years at Thomas Dale High School… won the Most Versatile Player Award… helped her team place second in the district in 2011 and 2012… also competed in track and field... was Academic All-Conference two years and achieved academic excellence for a GPA of over 4.0.
