Treslyn Ortiz joined the Lynchburg volleyball staff in the summer of 2021 as a graduate assistant coach.

A standout libero and defensive specialist for NCAA Division II Wingate University in Wingate, N.C., Ortiz helped the Bulldogs to 118 wins and four NCAA tournament appearances in her career. Together with Lynchburg head coach Hannah Givens, she and the Bulldogs reached the NCAA quarterfinals in 2018 and the Southeast Region finals the year prior. Ortiz earned first-team All-Southeast Region laurels in 2019 and also landed on the top South Atlantic Conference team.

She spent the past year as a member of the staff at Division II power University of Nebraska-Kearney, helping guide the Lopers to the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association title this past spring.

Ortiz graduated from Wingate in 2020 with a degree in exercise science. She is enrolled in the master's of business administration program at Lynchburg.
