Lynchburg field hockey rolls Roanoke 

                LYNCHBURG, VA - Holding nothing back offensively, Lynchburg College field hockey defeated conference rival Roanoke College 6-0 on Shellenberger Field in Old Dominion Athletic Conference action.

Parents Weekend brought many of the Lynchburg players' families on Saturday and the Hornets did not disappoint. Freshman Haili Hartman (Centreville, VA/Centreville) and sophomore Shelly Milks (Gloucester, VA/Gloucester) both had two goals each in the contest, which featured 52 total shots for Lynchburg.

Freshman Kelli Williams (New Castle, DE/William Penn) and Kristina Morris (Stafford, VA/Mountain View) each added a goal as well.

Lynchburg had 17 penalty corners and limited Roanoke to two shots and two penalty corneres for the entire contest.

The Hornets will be in action again on Sunday when they host Frostburg State at 1 p.m. on Shellenberger Field.
