40 Minutes Later
The Battle of the Hornets got off to a sluggish start as both teams shot below 35% in the first half and struggled to score, evident by a combined score of 17 in the entire 2nd quarter. Coming out of halftime, Lynchburg started to lock down on defense and forced multiple turnovers which helped them go on a 15-6 run to start the second half. Shenandoah also was able to find a rhythm in the second half as well but Lynchburg had already established a lead, that reached to 20 points in the fourth quarter, and proved to be insurmountable.
