Lynchburg continued to stay red hot Saturday afternoon as 11 players recorded at least two points in route to a 73-44 victory over Shenandoah, staying perfect at home while also extending their winning streak to nine games.

Game Breakdown

- Freshman guard Carolyn Noe scored a game high 16 points (57% 3PT) and added two steals

- Once again senior Charmaine Hairston recorded a double digit performance with 14 points (62.5 FG%)

- Senior guard Sarah Coronel had a quiet but productive game scoring 11 points and swiping four rebounds

- Lynchburg did not trail at any point of the game

- 34-19 was the advantage the Hornets held over Shenandoah in bench scoring

- The Hornets shot 60% from the field in the first half, finishing the day at` 54%

Beyond the Stat Sheet

- Noe's game high 16 points was also her career high, she broke it on a buzzer beater 3PT shot to end the third quarter

- Hairston now has 31 points in the last two games while shooting 54.5% from the field

- Following the win, Lynchburg now holds a two game lead over Guilford in the ODAC

A Look Ahead

The Hornets will travel to Guilford College this Wednesday for a 5:00 PM tip. Lynchburg defeated the second place Quakers 74-61 at home back on January 4th.
