Lynchburg baseball continued its winning ways Sunday afternoon on Fox Field by defeating conference opponent Bridgewater 15-2 for the second time in two days.
Game Breakdown
- Senior Will Hylton scored when junior Will Harris singled to left field to put Lynchburg up 1-0 in the first inning
- The Hornets would add one more run in the inning to go up 2-0 after freshman Griffin Wild scored Harris off a single to left field
- As junior David Goulding continued to deal on the hill, the Lynchburg offense continued to give him more run support in the fourth inning
- Senior Ryan Katona reached on an error to bring the Hornets up 3-0
- In the same inning Harris and senior Will Hylton crossed home plate while sophomore Nathan Sharp was credited with an RBI
- Lynchburg kept the foot on the gas in the fifth inning mustering up three more runs with RBIs coming from sophomore Thomas Powell, Hylton, and Harris
- The Hornets would add four runs in the fifth inning to go up 10-0
- One more big inning awaited the Hornets in the sixth inning when they scored five more runs to go up 15-2
- Bridgewater added runs in the seventh and ninth innings to make it a 15-2 Lynchburg victory

Goulding outched six scoreless inning while only allowing two Eagle hits
- Harris went 5-6 while driving in six RBIs as well as making a fully extended diving catch in right field
- Sharp went 3-6 and drove in a Hornet run
- Wild had a solid day going 3-6 while bringing home two runs
