Lynchburg, Va.-- Sydney Frink had a match-high 17 kills and Lauren Stanford added to her career digs mark with 20 as the University of Lynchurg volleyball team swept the Trojans of Division II Virginia State University Friday night 25-22, 25-22, 28-26. 

Senior Erin Farina added 15 assists to help the cause and improve the Hornets' record to 16-10.

As a team, Lynchburg hit .267 on the night on the attack. Sophomore Emma Drake and freshman Calli Clevinger led the way hitting .467 and .429, respectively with Drake totaling six kills. 

The Trojans (13-10) received 10 kills from Kennedi Cannon and 27 assists from Bria Anderson. 

Lynchburg will be back in action when the Old Dominion Athletic Conference tournament for volleyball gets underway next weekend as they are currently seeded sixth with a 6-6 conference record.
