Box Score Fredericksburg, Va. -- University of Lynchburg's baseball team rallied in the middle innings on its way to a 9-2 win at Mary Washington Tuesday afternoon.
Freshman left fielder Kaden Warren (Berryville, Va.) led the Hornets' offense, going 2-for-5 with four RBI, three of them on a bases-loaded double in the fourth inning.
Sophomore center fielder Parker Shaffer (Richmond, Va.) reached base thrice and scored three runs, and freshman third baseman Garrett Jackson (Virginia Beach, Va.) had two hits and drove in a pair.
Sophomore right-hander Jason Wood (Gloucester, Va.) pitched two scoreless innings in relief to earn the win.
