Stillwater, Okla. -- The University of Lynchburg National Collegiate Equestrian Team completed its regular season with a 9-0 loss to dual-discipline Oklahoma State Saturday.
The Hornets were right on the tails of their Cowgirl opponents with seven of the ten rides being within 10 points.
Junior Kelley McCormick tied her point on the flat with both riders receiving a 73.
Sophomore Fallyn Belcastro had the high score of the day for the Hornets with an 86 over fences two points off her opponent's score.
The Lynchburg NCEA team finishes the regular season with an overall record of 7-4 and 5-1 in the single discipline ECAC Conference; the best in program history.
The Hornets will look forward to hosting the Old Dominion Athletic Conference championship on Friday March 17.
