Forest, Va. -- For the second time this season,
Abigail Devlin was awarded the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Flat Competition Rider of the Week honor, announced by the conference office on Wednesday.
Following a stellar performance against Bridgewater that saw the senior ride to an 88 in Flat on Caleb and beat out her opponent by two points, Devlin was bestowed her second Flat Rider of the Week award of the year. She previously won the award in the first week of the season after helping her team to a 2-0 start with wins over then-ranked No. 2 Charleston and Centenary.
Devlin averages an astonishing score of 88 across all four meet this year and has earned a team point in Flat in every competition. She and the No. 1 Hornets squad looks to continue their winning ways when they match up against Sweet Briar at the Lynchburg Equestrian Center for the team's Code Red meet on Friday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m.
