Jake Rust and junior short stick defensive middie
Parker Sealey of the University of Lynchburg men's lacrosse team were tabbed as United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-Americans, announced by the USILA on Thursday.
Sealey was named to the All-American Second Team while Rust was selected for the All-American Third Team. Last week, Rust was named an All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine. Rust led the team in goals scored this season with 49 goals. After another phenomenal season, Rust completed his collegiate career with the third-most goals (187) and fifth-most points (231) in program history.
Sealey was a physical force on the defensive side of the ball and made noise on the offensive side in transition. As a defensive midfielder, Sealey netter 17 goals and added four assists. He scooped up 47 ground balls and forced eight opponent turnovers.
