Forest, Va. -- Following a stellar performance at Sweet Briar the resulted in an MOP award, Amaya Bellfield was tabbed as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Flat Rider of the Week, announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Bellfield receives her third ODAC Athlete of the Week award this season. This past Friday against the Vixens, Bellfield earned the highest score in the Flat with a 79.5 riding Trey, beating out her opponent by a half-point margin for a team point. Additionally, she received a team point in the Fences with an event-high score of 85 riding James.

Next up for the Hornets' NCEA squad is a weekend swing in Charleston, S.C., where Lynchburg will square off against Charleston on Friday, Feb. 27, then Centenary on the same day at the same facility.
