Petty Earns All-ODAC Honors

Forest, Va. -- University of Lynchburg women's basketball student-athlete Audry Petty was selected to the All-ODAC Third Team, announced by the conference office on Thursday afternoon.

The sophomore guard Petty finished the season with one of the best scoring averages in the conference, netting the fifth-most points in the league with 16.2 points per game. She was often efficient from the field, especially behind the 3-point arc, as she had the 11th-best field goal percentage at .428 percent and sixth-best 3-point percentage at .328 percent.

The Randleman, N.C. native hit the three often, averaging 1.7 3-point makes per game, which was the fifth-highest mark across the ODAC. She also was clutch at the charity stripe as she owned the second-best free throw percentage in the conference at a .798 percent clip.

Petty earned ODAC Offensive Player of the Week honors earlier this season following a week where she averaged 24.5 points per game across two contests. That week in a win over William Peace, she netted 28 points, a mark that she hit twice more later in the season. Throughout the campaign, Petty hit double-figures in scoring in 23 outings and notched 20-or-more points on eight different occasions.
