LYNCHBURG, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg placed 11 student-athletes on the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large Teams, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
The CSC Academic All-District® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined achievements in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in five divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and the College Division.
Lynchburg's women's selections included beach volleyball student-athlete SJ Yanz, field hockey standouts Mallory Lamb and Megan Stiffler, golfer Lily Rowe, and women's lacrosse players Mya Hausauer and Chastity Koerner.
Representing the Hornets on the men's side were golfers Ben Chamberlin and Alan Van Asch, along with men's lacrosse student-athletes Eric Allen, Will Hicks, Kayden Hinchey, and Luke Meadows.
The Academic All-District® teams honor student-athletes who have excelled both athletically and academically throughout the academic year. Nominees must meet specific academic and athletic performance criteria established by CSC.
Several Lynchburg honorees helped lead their respective programs to successful seasons in 2025-26, contributing to conference championships, postseason appearances, and national recognition while maintaining excellence in the classroom.
The 2025-26 Academic All-America® teams will be announced later this summer.
