Lynchburg, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg men's and women's swimming teams and head coach Brad Dunn are thrilled to announced the complete schedule for the 2026-27 campaign.

The Hornets will open the season with an exhibition against Liberty on September 25 at the Liberty University Natatorium in the Hill City. Lynchburg returns to the pool the following day for the ODAC Relays at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va., beginning at noon.

Lynchburg returns to the Liberty University Natatorium for a pair of October meets. The Hornets will face ODAC foe Roanoke on October 24 at noon before taking on another conference rival in Washington and Lee on October 31 at noon.

The men's and women's swimming teams close out the fall portion of the schedule at the Centre Invitational. Competition is scheduled for November 17-21 at Boles Natatorium at Centre University in Danville, Ky.

Lynchburg begins the new year with a team training trip to Cocoa Beach, Fla., from January 2-9. The Hornets return to competition on January 16 at Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Va., before traveling to Fredericksburg, Va., to face Mary Washington on January 23. The Hornets close out the regular-season schedule with the Battle in the 'Burg on January 30 at noon at the Liberty University Natatorium.

Postseason competition begins with the ODAC Championship from February 9-13 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C. The NCAA Championship is also scheduled to take place at the Greensboro Aquatic Center from March 23-27.

Last season, both the men's and women's squads found significant success as each placed second in the conference championship. Henry Brooks and Gracie Maughan both earned a spot in the NCAA Championships, Brooks in the 100-yard backstroke and Maughan in the 100-yard breaststroke. Brooks was named the ODAC Men's Rookie of the Meet. Additionally, Coach Dunn was selected as the ODAC Men's and Women's Coach of the Year. The women's squad had eight All-ODAC performers while the men's crew had seven.
